LCG Ltd T/A HGS Auto Refinishing and HGS Cleaning Supplies is expanding and looking for a driven and reliable Office & Warehouse Administrator to support our growing team. We supply a wide range of products across automotive refinishing, cleaning, janitorial and hospitality. You'll work alongside our existing office team and delivery staff, dealing with customer orders, stock and general support. You will work initially in our Automotive division but expect to progress to cover other divisions over time.
Key Responsibilities
* Entering and processing customer orders accurately on the system, whether received by phone, email, message, or in person, ready for picking.
* Supporting office work: answering calls/emails, processing customer enquiries, liaising with suppliers.
* Receiving, inspecting, quality-checking and storing incoming stock (cleaning, janitorial, hospitality, and auto-related consumables).
* Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders (through our own delivery staff).
* Maintaining accurate stock records, cycle counts, stock rotation, and expiry tracking.
* Keeping the warehouse, office and showroom areas tidy and operating safely.
* Operating warehouse equipment when needed (forklift NOT essential).
Essential Attributes
* Minimum 2 years' experience taking customer orders (ideally in cleaning, janitorial, hospitality, or automotive supplies, but similar order-processing experience will be considered).
* Strong attention to detail, methodical and accurate.
* Computer literate, confident in order entry and stock management systems.
* Good organisational skills – able to multitask.
* Team player with confident communication (face-to-face and telephone).
* Physically fit: able to lift/move stock items (up to ~20–25 kg regularly).
* Flexible, reliable, with a strong work ethic and initiative.
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience in warehouse, stock control, retail, or order fulfilment.
* Familiarity with product ranges such as cleaning, janitorial, hospitality or auto refinishing supplies.
* Knowledge of health & safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
