Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Loading the van each morning with store deliveries.
* Delivering to stores in line with an agreed schedule.
* Collection of returns stock.
* Upholding and promoting Company Policies and Procedures.
* Carry out duties in a safe manner and comply with Health & Safety Regulations.
Qualifications
* Previous Commercial Van Driving experience would be beneficial but not essential.
* A full clean driving licence and the ability to handle a 3.5 tonne van.
* An honest and trustworthy disposition is essential.
* The role involves lifting, so a reasonable level of fitness is required.
* The ability to work under pressure.
* The ability to work on own initiative with a strong work ethic.
* An organised and methodical approach to work, with a keen eye for attention to detail.
* Good timekeeping.
Additional Information
Successful drivers will: Be required to complete an onsite driving theory and practical assessment.
Have no more than 3 penalty points on their licence for insurance purposes - No DD or DR endorsements will be accepted.
