Key job responsibilities
* Manage and develop a team of Area Managers
* Own your site, address issues, and positively impact site performance
* Analyze site performance against relevant business objectives and implement actions to enhance operational excellence
* Collaborate with support teams including HR (PxT), Finance, Delivery Service Partners (DSP), IT, Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES), and Engineering units
* Design and implement initiatives to improve operational performance
A day in the life
You’ll lead shifts at an operational site and serve as the key liaison between teams such as finance, safety, and operations. Your role involves overseeing daily operations and contributing to innovation at your site.
Typical activities include meetings across business areas, analyzing performance and risk metrics, planning for demand fluctuations, and mentoring your team to develop strong managers.

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) manages last-mile delivery through partnerships with third-party businesses. We focus on continuous improvement to deliver millions of products smoothly and innovate with services like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants.
Our operations are 24/7, involving 'under the roof' associates processing products and 'on the road' delivery contractors through Amazon Flex. We aim to enhance customer experience, reduce our carbon footprint with electric vehicles, and implement cutting-edge logistics solutions.
Minimum qualifications
* Degree
* Relevant experience in people and stakeholder management
* Proficiency in English (verbal and written) and intermediate local language skills
* Experience using data or anecdotal evidence to influence decisions
Preferred qualifications
* Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen techniques
* Experience in a logistics environment
* Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
