Primary Teaching Assistant – Ellesmere Port
Excell Supply are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join schools in the Ellesmere Port area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development within a primary school setting.
About the role:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2. You will help create a positive, engaging learning environment and provide both one-to-one and small group support where needed.
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
* Assisting pupils with their learning and development
* Providing targeted support to individuals or small groups
* Helping to manage classroom behaviour effectively
* Preparing classroom resources and activities

* Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
* A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for education
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3) are advantageous but not essential
