Status: Permanent Hours: 30 hours per week Salary: £19,298.40 (WTE £24,123) per annum Closing date: 25 February 2026 Interview date: 2 March 2026 St Elizabeth Hospice is seeking a Mobile Shop Manager who is forward thinking to ensure our retail shops continually meet the progressive and ever changing world of ‘charity retail’. Our ideal candidate will have proven retail management experience and flexibility in their working hours/days. 30 hours per week. Week one – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and week two – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. As a Mobile Shop Manager you will provide cover the shops in the areas of Bungay, Harleston, Saxmundham, Leiston, Southwold, Felixstowe, Heath Road, Aldeburgh, Framlingham, Wickham Market and Woodbridge where needed and be required to: • provide additional management relief cover in retail outlets. This will include days off, annual leave, new shop openings and vacancies. • provide a high standard of customer service and satisfaction at all times to both external and internal customers. • promote and monitor Gift Aid. • maintain a high standard of merchandising, layout and display. • work with and manage volunteers who are integral to our business. Other income is produced through our e-commerce sites, furniture operation and retail events. St Elizabeth Hospice is an independent charity and hospice, which improves life for people in the East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney areas living with a progressive or life-limiting illness. Our work is centred on an individual's needs, which means specialist support, whenever and wherever it is needed, whether at home, in the community or at the hospice. Established in 1989, the hospice has built a reputation for delivering high-level care to patients and the community it serves. Last year the charity supported over 4,000 patients and their families. In 2023, St Elizabeth Hospice merged with East Coast Hospice to form a collaborative approach to developing achievable and sustainable specialist palliative care services for people living the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area.
