Legal Accounting Specialist – Prestigious & Dynamic US Law Firm

Fantastic and unique opportunity for a highly experienced Legal Accounting Specialist to join the busy Finance team of this successful international law firm.
Responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of all financial accounting transactions, systems and processes whilst ensuring the on-going improvement in quality of input together with more accurate output for the purposes of providing more timely management information to the London & Brussels management and NY accounting teams.
Duties include a variety of tasks in accordance with established accounting policies, procedures and practices including:-
– maintenance and control of general ledger accounting
– review and control of monthly balance sheet & payroll benefit reconciliations
– manage quarterly VAT return for London office
– preparation of cashflow forecast reporting for London & Brussels office
– review and set up of new AP vendors
– support Finance supervisor with accounting projects
Skills, experience & qualifications
2. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, BA in Accounting is preferred.
3. Part qualified Accountant preferred
4. Experience in legal accounting within a law firm of at least 5 years
