Account Manager - Commercial Projects

East and West Midlands

Up to £60k d.o.e +Car Allowance +bonus

· Opportunity for candidates within lighting, lighting controls, or with a strong electrical background in field sales

Role in Midlands: Working within the Midlands, you will identify and secure project specifications with M&E Consultants and manage lighting projects with Main and M&E Contractors. Selling lighting products and controls, including standalone or integrated BMS systems. Candidates with technical skills, ability to interpret plans, and communicate with engineers will have an advantage. Focus on securing and managing projects in the Commercial and Public sectors, developing relationships throughout the sales cycle. Proven consultative selling and technical understanding are essential. The role requires a drive to win projects and increase market share.

Company Overview: Established in Scandinavia with a strong UK presence, this growing manufacturer specializes in lighting solutions, controls, and wireless innovations, emphasizing sustainability and future technologies. They offer strong support from technical, design, and back-office teams, with expansion planned for 2025.

Candidate Criteria:

* Minimum 2 years in field sales within lighting, controls, or similar electrical products
* Understanding of or experience with M&E Contractors
* Ability to manage a pipeline of projects
* Professional, consultative salesperson with good attention to detail
* Electrical or technical drawing understanding is desirable but not essential

Salary: £40,000-£60,000 basic, DOE, plus OTE, car allowance, mobile, laptop, 25 days holiday, pension scheme
