Overview
First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a Senior Fire Fault & Commissioning Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

Responsibilities:
* Report directly to the Engineering Manager and serve as the onsite technical lead for the Fire and Life Safety department.
* Service, handle reactive calls, and commission fire alarm systems, including high-level commissioning and fault finding across various systems.
* Develop the current Engineering Team technically and personally.
* Commission fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance and proper documentation, with system sizes ranging from 20 to over 500 devices.
* Utilize your technical expertise to fault find and rectify issues on all systems.
* Configure system setups using various software on different panels and understand cause-and-effect configurations.
* Provide onsite training and development for engineering team members.
* Support the wider business with technical expertise, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Support onsite service issues and resolve high-level technical problems to ensure excellent customer service.
* Implement quality control procedures and conduct inspections and audits, taking corrective actions as needed.
* Work with core alarm systems such as Gent, Advanced, Ziton, Morley, and Kentec, and have knowledge of air sampling, suppression, and smoke ventilation systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong desire to learn and grow in a technical, customer-facing environment.
* High level of knowledge in the fire and life safety industry.
* Experience servicing, fault finding, and commissioning a wide range of fire alarm systems.
* Ability to inspire and develop a diverse engineering team.
