Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience managing design delivery on large, complex infrastructure projects
* Strong background in nuclear, high-security, or highly regulated environments
* Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams
* Strong understanding of building design, construction processes, and UK standards
* Knowledge of RIBA Plan of Work (or equivalent design lifecycle frameworks)
* Understanding of nuclear safety principles, CDM regulations, and regulatory compliance
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Strong organisational and leadership capability
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Experience designing facilities against internal and external hazard requirements
* Familiarity with engineering design tools and digital design platforms
* Experience working within major capital programmes or complex infrastructure projects
* Knowledge of UK nuclear regulatory frameworks
* Additional language skills (e.g., French) advantageous
Qualifications
* Degree (or equivalent) in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Architectural, Process, or related Engineering discipline
* Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) desirable
* Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance (CTC or equivalent)
