Main Purpose of Job:
Provide high quality flexible childcare for families from the local communities. Support the practitioners and colleague in a smooth running of the group to the highest standards. This role is focused on the 2-4 year old room.
Responsible for:
Early Years Practitioners, Early Years Apprentices. Works alongside with Early Years Lead and SENCO
Reports to:
Nursery Manager, Director
Main Responsibilities:
* Lunch cover
* Job rota for daily tasks
* Arrange home visits with management
* Early Years Clusters if needed
* Support supervisions termly with management
* Support with staff meetings/ weekly morning meeting
* Identify training needs/ conduct training if possible
* Focus sheets review weekly
* Check/ enhance / maintain learning environment. Champion system
* Check with staff for provocations if necessary/ appropriate
* Accommodate school transitions with Early Years lead
* Peer observations
* Buddy board checks
* Transitions
* Planning in the moment Officer of the room
* Makaton officer with SENCO
* Key worker /children allocations with management
* Room moves famly termly with management
* Check accident forms
* Enter medication forms
