As an Autism Support Worker, you will: Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with autism. Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering structured learning activities. Encourage positive interactions, communication, and social development. Support behaviour management and help create a calm, inclusive classroom. Promote independence and confidence in pupils through consistent support. Requirements for Autisom Support Worker: Previous experience supporting pupils with autism or additional learning needs. A calm, empathetic, and patient approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
