Cleaner/ Janitor
Salary: Grade 2 SCP 3 £24,796 p.a. Actual Salary £3,043 p.a. dependent on years’ service
Hours of work: initially 5 hours a week Monday to Friday (evenings exact time to be discussed at interview)
Contract: permanent / term time plus (38 weeks when the pupils are in school, plus 5 inset days and 10 additional days in the school holidays).
Responsible to: Headteacher
Start Date: asap to be discussed at interview
Greywood Primary Academy is a brand-new school within Primitas Learning Partnership. Our values of belonging, believing, and placing children at the heart of everything we do shape our ethos and our vision.
We are looking to appoint a Cleaner who has a real sense of pride and will ensure that our fantastic facility is kept clean and hygienic. This is an exciting time to join the team while we prepare to open our school to pupils.
Working under the direction of senior staff the role is responsible for the cleaning of classrooms, offices, toilets and communal areas ensuring the safe use of cleaning chemicals and machinery. In addition there would be the requirement for the postholder to secure the building at the end of their shift.
