GSL Education are looking for a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a supportive school in Dinnington (S25). This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact by helping young learners build confidence, develop coping strategies, and achieve both academically and personally.
Responsibilities as an SEMH Teacher:
* Deliver stimulating, needs-focused lessons that cater to the unique learning profiles of pupils with SEMH.
* Cultivate a steady, supportive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes emotional growth and stability.
* Build meaningful, encouraging relationships with pupils to strengthen their confidence, resilience, and engagement.
* Review pupil progress regularly, adapt your teaching, and give purposeful feedback to support ongoing development.
Requirements for the SEMH Teacher role:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience working with pupils with SEMH, SEND, or behavioural needs (preferred).
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching and behaviour support.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
