We are looking for an experienced support worker to join our amazing team who exclusively support our client "K", who is a female in her mid-thirties.
Our client has an acquired brain injury but that hasn't stopped her getting the most out of life. she loves shopping, singing and dancing, and has a wicked sense of humour. Additionally she enjoys attending festivals, going to the cinema and going on holidays to foreign countries. K is also very creative and loves art.
The right candidate will need a sense of fun and enjoy being busy and active, if you are a caring, fun, outgoing and reliable person then this might just be the job you're looking for. You must be flexible and have a full driving licence as our client has her own vehicle which you will need to be able to drive.
The role involves you helping K get the most out of her life, this includes assistance with all personal care routines and helping with attending appointments, shopping and working as part of a larger team of support workers and therapy professionals.
Shifts will include weekdays, weekend days and possibly some night shifts.
This is a part time position, working on a Ad-hoc basis with a guaranteed 20 hours per month for example; covering annual leave. Rate of pay will be £15.07 per hour weekdays and £16.15 per hour weekend days, night shifts will be paid at £91.49 per weekday sleeping night and £102.26 per weekend sleeping night
