M&E Quantity Surveyor Cardiff Permanent salary + benefits package Sphere Solutions are currently recruiting for an M&E Quantity Surveyor, to work for a large contractor on the Velindre Cancer centre in Cardiff. As a Quantity Surveyor – M&E, you’ll play a pivotal role in our mission to create a state-of-the-art cancer centre. The Quantity Surveyor will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects and enhancing our culture of innovation. The role holder will manage contract administration, risk management and negotiation effectively to deliver the agreed profitability and cash projections, informing line management and seeking guidance as and when required. Key Responsibilities include: * Communicate and liaise with M&E sub-contractors.. * Ensure commercial compliance of current contracts, protecting the position of the company. * Report to Lead Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager/ Project Director and other appropriate stakeholders about the subcontract status, including updating Sacyr cost control platform as required. * Assist the rest of the Commercial Department when required, participating in procurement, contract administration, variations and work packages management. * Quantity take-off. * Assist with monthly work in progress reports in conjunction with Commercial Manager / Pr...
