Position
This is an exciting opportunity to join the School of Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) as a Biomedical Engineering Teaching Laboratory Supervisor (Maternity cover) to run the new Biomedical Engineering Teaching Labs.
Responsibilities
As a Biomedical Engineering Teaching Laboratory Supervisor (Maternity cover) you will be responsible to plan, sustain, and organise the technical delivery of core undergraduate and taught undergraduate specialist Biomedical Engineering associated with all ECS taught degrees, and to support the School’s strategic growth of teaching facilities.
In this role you will manage the day‑to‑day running of ECS’s state of the art Biomedical Engineering Teaching Laboratory services and equipment, and provide specialist technical support and advice to the School’s practical educational activities.
Qualifications
You must hold a relevant degree qualification and proven chemical experience and practical laboratory skills, and laboratory management experience.
You must have substantial experience in a relevant technical field, with proven experience of successfully planning work activities.
Impact
Successful delivery in this role will significantly contribute to protecting the capital investment in ECS teaching facilities and to deliver the maximum educational value from them.
