A well-established regional law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Associate Solicitor to join its Family team.
The Role
This position offers the opportunity to manage a varied private family law caseload while supporting the continued growth of a well-regarded team. The role would suit a confident solicitor who is comfortable working autonomously, delivering high-quality client care, and contributing to business development activity.Key responsibilities include:Managing a busy and diverse family law caseloadAdvising clients on a range of private family matters, including divorce, financial remedy and children issuesDelivering a consistently high standard of client servicePreparing court documentation and attending hearings, mediations and meetings as requiredBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsWorking collaboratively with colleagues across the firmSupporting junior team members where appropriateContributing to marketing, networking and business development initiatives
Skills & Experience
Qualified Solicitor with solid experience in private family lawAbility to manage files independently with minimal supervisionStrong organisational, communication and drafting skillsConfident and professional client-facing approachCommercial awareness and a proactive mindsetExperience contributing to business development and networking activitiesDesirable:Experience handling complex financial or children mattersAdvocacy or court attendance experienceFamiliarity with modern case management systems
