About the Role
Our client is seeking an exceptional Sales Manager with the experience, presence, and vision to drive success across their busy showroom. You will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of Sales Executives and Sales Controllers to deliver outstanding results across new and used vehicle sales, finance, and insurance products – all while ensuring an industry-leading customer experience.
This is not just a management role – it's a pivotal leadership position where your energy, strategic thinking, and people skills will directly shape the culture and performance of the sales operation.
What You’ll Be Doing

Lead, inspire and manage the Sales Team to meet and exceed sales targets and performance KPIs.

Play an active role in the sales process by “second facing” customers, helping to secure deals and ensure every customer journey ends with complete satisfaction.

Drive a customer-first culture, promoting trust, loyalty, and long-term relationships.

Coach and develop your team through regular performance reviews, one-to-ones, and targeted training to maximise individual and collective performance.

Work closely with the General Manager and senior leadership to ensure seamless coordination between departments and full compliance with all FCA and company policies.

Maintain high standards in showroom presentation, team appearance, and operational efficiency.

Take ownership of sales reporting, stock control, compliance, and process improvement, ensuring consistent performance across the department.
What We're Looking For
You’ll be a proven automotive sales leader with a hands-on, energetic approach and a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver exceptional results. Ideally, you will bring:

Previous experience as a Sales Manager or Business Manager within the motor trade.
*
A track record of achieving (and exceeding) targets across sales and F&I metrics.
*
A natural ability to coach, motivate and lead from the front.
*
A customer-centric mindset with strong commercial awareness.
*
Full UK driving licence.
