Talent Frame are working exclusively with a leading international law firm, as they recruit for a Communications Manager to join their growing team. The office is in the centre of Manchester, and you'll be based in the office three days per week.
The Communications Manager will sit as part of the broader Business Development and Marketing team, with a dotted line to the Global Communications team. You'll drive communications and marketing strategies, to help shape the firms corporate reputation and position them as the go-to choice across some of their international regions.
Responsibilities
* Build strong stakeholder relationships and become a trusted advisor to senior leadership, partners and fee earners in various global regions
* Advise on profile raising activity for partners and practice areas, to shape external perception within the industry
* Develop and execute proactive corporate reputation campaigns to position the firm as a leader in the regions
* Build strong relationships with regional media, spot opportunities and proactively pitch to secure profile pieces
* Draft a range of content including major announcements, award submissions, lateral hires, press releases, thought leadership articles, messaging documents and Q&As
* Support with crisis communications and rapid response reputation management
* Work in partnership with the global communications team to shape integrated comms plans and craft region-specific campaign strategies
* Work with the broader business development and marketing team, to help execute marketing campaigns
Experience required
* Must have previous experience working in a Communications or PR role, within the professional services industry
* Stakeholder management experience, confident building relationships with senior stakeholders and tactfully managing conflicting priorities
* Strong media relations capabilities, able to spot opportunities and confident pitching to the press
* Impeccable writing skills, able to craft clear, concise and compelling messages
* Able to guide, inspire and motivate junior team members
