We are looking for motivated and driven individuals with good values and a genuine interest in the care and support of Older People; with experience of care within a highly complex yet rewarding environment.
The successful candidate will undertake the keyworker role, which involves creating, monitoring, and reviewing care plans, keeping accurate records of support planning, and ensuring the service user is offered opportunities, experiences, and care/support within their care plan. The role also involves promoting access to local community opportunities and enabling service users to continue living meaningful lives.
We provide ongoing care and support to vulnerable older people. Our care services include care homes, a respite, STAR unit, and day service.

The Person
Provide care and support that meets the Health and Social Care standards.
Collaborate with other Council services and partner agencies to support effective planning and delivery of care and support.
Work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic and ambitious team.
Have or be able to work towards the required qualification as mandated by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Once qualified, it is the individual's responsibility to inform the SSSC accordingly.
To achieve registration with SSSC within 6 months of starting, you must apply within 3 months of your start date. Maintaining registration requires holding or working towards the SSSC benchmark qualification (SVQ Level 3), completing required Continuous Professional Learning (CPL), and submitting an annual declaration via MySSSC. If you do not currently hold a benchmark qualification, your registration will be granted on the condition that you attain the required qualification within the specified timeframe.
Before appointment, you will need to obtain PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and join the relevant PVG scheme.
