About the Team Leader role: To assist the Registered Manager in the supervision, management, and support of staff in their tasks. To take on delegated aspects of the 24 hour day to day management of the establishment. To work flexibly with the Amegreen Management team to provide a seamless management oversight for the service. On occasion this will involve deputising in the absence of the Registered Manager, taking full responsibility for decisions which need to be taken. He/she will participate in the rota, leading shifts and ensuring day to day arrangements for staff cover are robust and in place. He/she will be expected to make decisions related to casework, risk management, short term resource allocation and child protection. To manage and develop the highest standard of care and treatment interventions for young people worked with by Amegreen Children’s Services. Skills and experience required as our Team Leader: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent Administration / report writing skills Previous experience as a Team Leader in a children's care setting. Caring and empathetic nature, with effective communication skills. In-depth knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations. Ability to develop and inspire a high-performing team.
