GSL Education are welcoming applications for an RE Teacher to work across schools in Sheffield (S5, S9), delivering lessons that encourage reflection, respect, and open-minded thinking. As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging sessions that help students explore religious traditions, moral issues, and different worldviews in a balanced and inclusive way. Key Responsibilities: Deliver well-structured lessons that promote understanding and critical thinking. Encourage respectful discussion around ethical, cultural, and philosophical topics. Support students in developing clear written and verbal responses. Maintain a calm, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering as an RE Teacher. Clear communication and good organisational skills. A commitment to supporting learners of different abilities. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
