We provide a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment with ample opportunities for career growth, along with a competitive salary, staff discount, life assurance, and 34 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays). 6 month contract (potential to lead to permanent) Part-time - 25-30 hours per week (potential to lead to full time) 7:30am-2:30pm Monday-Friday Location : Jewson, Gremista Industrial Estate, 5d, Lerwick ZE1 0PX Key Responsibilities In this role you'll be the first point of contact for our customers - you'll be responsible for serving customers at the trade counter, processing orders and answering customer queries in branch and over the phone. This is a busy and key role within the whole branch operation! Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values Develop great relationships with new and existing customers, both face to face and over the phone Understand customer needs and provide proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts and launching new promotions, to make a great first impression on our customers Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work What’s in it for you?
