ASSET MANAGER
Location: West Midlands / South East
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Asset Manager to join our collaborative client account team based in the West Midlands/South East
This role offers an outstanding opportunity to advance your asset management career, contributing directly to the optimisation of a diverse and high-profile built estate.
Working closely with stakeholders at all levels, you’ll help define and deliver asset management strategy across M&E and fabric systems – improving performance, lifecycle outcomes, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Support client understanding of asset responsibilities through tailored documentation and training
* Ensure robust assurance by evaluating system performance and identifying root causes of asset issues
* Monitor and investigate asset performance against expected benchmarks
* Manage action tracking using Monday.com, working closely with project leads
* Convert CAD drawings to PDF and update data across internal platforms
* Compile site packs for surveyors and compliance teams, including SFG20 regulatory references
* Foster effective working relationships with internal departments and subcontractors
* Provide general administrative support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
About You
* Proven experience as an Asset Manager - gained within the Facilities Management (FM) sector
* Strong knowledge of technical services and their influence on operational performance
* Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
* Analytical mindset with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* SFG20 experience
* Good Ms Office skills – PowerPoint, Word etc
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-look ups etc),
* Familiarity with asset databases and digital workflow systems (e.g. Monday.com)
* Technical Engineering degree (or equivalent)
* IAM Certificate in Asset Management
