VTA Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Class 2 Driver to join our client’s team in Heywood. Hours & Pay
£14.03 per hour + bonus (rate increase after training)
Overtime paid at £21.00 per hour
43.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Working hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm
No weekend work
About the Role
Multidrop deliveries throughout North West, teamed up with a Drivers Mate in a 14tonne Class 2 Dual Temperature vehicle, running to a preset delivery route.
Daily walkaround and vehicle checks
Loading and unloading of vehicle, both at delivery points and on return to the depot, undertaking Manual Handling duties .

Customer facing role
Handling P.O.D; payments and delivery paperwork
On job training provided
Physical role
Manual and automatic fleet

What We’re Looking For
Valid Category C (Class 2) licence
New passes considered
Confidence driving MANUAL transmission vehicles
Full CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
No more than 6 points on your licence
No DR10 or IN10 convictions

Please note:
Not all routes will get a driver’s mate, it would depend on weight of load, number of deliveries and geographical distance away from the depot.
New passes will be considered, dependant on other experience for the role
