Job Title: COO Transformation Lead
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: London, Bradford, Chatham, Petersfield
Working Pattern: Hybrid—typically a couple of days a week in the office. Part-time or flexible arrangements are considered to support work-life balance. You and Your Team:
Vanquis has embarked on a large and ambitious transformation project across our technology, customer, data and process environment.
This role will be specifically helping to support the identification and quantification of benefits aligned to the various changes within the transformation programme for the COO function, supporting the Senior Strategy and Business Improvement Manager.
The successful candidate will ideally possess a keen analytical mind, interest in operating models, process design and strategic thinking, whilst have a solid ground in financial acumen and fundamental resource planning concepts.
In your day-to-day role, as a COO Transformation Lead, some of the responsibilities include:
* Facilitating activity to identify existing business process requirements and validate that future state TOM business transformation flows and requirements are fit for purpose
* Supporting the business transformation leadership as required to support delivery of key objectives
* Undertaking acceptance testing of developed features to ensure fit for purpose for release into live environment
* Supporting closure of impediments to delivery of the overall transformation plan and interim states
* Execution of key business readiness tasks in relation to business transformation
What will make you stand out?
* Sound understanding of Cards, Loans & Motor Finance processes
* Ability to balance long term thinking with day-to-day COO activities
* Effectively plan and organise work, prioritising deadlines whilst working at a fast pace
* Able to work independently and objectively and as part of a team
* Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret MI and use it for sound decision making
* Previous experience working in financial services regulated environment and within business, product, commercial or change disciplines
* PC Literacy to include MS Office suite
