Roles We're Hiring – Poole (BH12)
1. Grill Chefs (Barbecue Specialists)
* Cook meat on open charcoal/gas grills.
* Marinate, grill, and maintain Turcuisine's quality standards.
* Carry out temperature checks and ensure food safety.
2. Prep & Meze Salad Cooks
* Prepare sides: salads, meze, chips, rice, garlic bread, etc.
* Stock sauces and garnishes.
* Keep plating consistent with portion control.
3. Line Cooks / Assemblers
* Assemble plates to menu specifications.
* Coordinate timing between grill & prep stations.
* Ensure fast and accurate service.
4. Expediters ("Pass" Role)
* Work at the kitchen pass (where food leaves the kitchen).
* Double-check presentation, accuracy, and quality.
* Call out orders and coordinate with grill & prep cooks.
5. Back of House Assistants (BOH)
* Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning.
* Receiving and storing deliveries.
* Help with basic prep (cutting, marinating).
6. Kitchen Supervisor / Team Leader
* Oversee kitchen flow and safety.
* Allocate staff to stations and manage shift handovers.
* Monitor stock levels, HACCP checks, and food hygiene compliance.
Shifts & Team Setup
A typical shift includes:
* 1 Grill Chef
* 1 Prep Cook
* 1 Assembler
* 1 Expediter
* 1 BOH Assistant
* 1 Supervisor
(At busy times, extra staff are added per station.)
What We're Looking For
* Previous kitchen or hospitality experience preferred (not always required for BOH).
* Good teamwork and communication.
* Food safety awareness (training provided if needed).
* Reliability and ability to handle busy service.
