Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Dietitian looking for a new role that will challenge and develop you? The Adferiad team includes Clinical Psychology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, General Practitioners and support staff. The service supports people presenting with Long Covid, ME/CFS, other post viral conditions, fibromyalgia, chronic pain and other similar conditions. The team work closely with the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service and there is an opportunity for a respiratory caseload.
The post holder will be required to travel/undertake clinical work across the Swansea Bay UHB area to support service delivery working directly and indirectly with patients and families in outpatient clinics/ community groups and in their own homes when necessary and staff members.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for:

Managing own diverse clinical caseload of adults or paediatric patients in designated hospital, community and out-patient settings. This involves planning, implementing and evaluating Nutrition and Dietetic interventions in conjunction with unit clinical lead dietitian.

Providing specialist Nutrition and Dietetic advice to designated in patient/ outpatient and community/domiciliary services and group education programmes.
•
Participating in teaching, presenting, research, audit and service development within designated areas.
•
Participating in promotion and development of dietetic services within the organisation in conjunction with colleagues.

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential criteria
1. B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
2. HCPC Registered.
3. Post registration training in relevant area.
4. Evidence of a wide variety of clinical knowledge at band 5 level
5. Documented evidence of CPD
Desirable criteria
6. Student clinical educators course
Experience
Essential criteria
7. Experience of service delivery in a variety of different clinical settings since HCPC registration.
8. Experience of working with patients with diverse healthcare needs
9. Student training experience

10. Experience of supervising/ mentoring staff
