Salary: £35,588 - £41,867 pa
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full Time
Location: Birmingham/Hybrid – 2 days min per week in the office.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager with proven experience and knowledge in a range of Project Management methodologies to deliver a varied portfolio of projects across the Birmingham and London (remotely) offices of the General Dental Council.
About the role:
- The GDC is embarking on a series of projects that will involve a mix of approaches, including Agile, Waterfall and hybrid, ranging from business and process/system change, policy projects, culture change and digitalisation.
- You will be managing projects from initial concept and definition through to implementation and embedding of the changes and project close-out.
- You will provide support to our Senior Project Managers with the day-to-day management of allocated projects, using the GDC’s project management framework.
- You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to obtain the ‘voice of the customer’ when developing business requirements.
About you:
The successful candidate will:
- Be an experienced Project Manager with Waterfall and Agile knowledge. Agile SCRUM and PRINCE2 qualifications would be desirable.
- Have demonstrable ability to produce and present complex information as understandable reports and advice relevant to the various audiences, whilst being comfortable presenting ideas/proposals and engaging with/influencing others to refine them.
- Be analytical, with creative thinking and problem-solving skills equally essential, as is the ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Be confident to prioritise work in the face of irregular demands and/or changes in business needs.
- Have the ability to understand and interpret legislative and regulatory requirements.
