Our Client are a leading provider of Renewable Solar PV Technologies, helping homeowners as well as businesses throughout the United Kingdom to discover the benefits of cleaner, greener energy.
Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchaser to join their Commercial Solar procurement team. The successful candidate will play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, components, and services essential for the delivery of our Commercial Solar PV projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced renewable energy environment, utilising advanced ERP systems to optimise procurement processes and support project delivery.
The ideal applicant will possess strong negotiation skills, solid understanding of logistics, and experience managing supply chains within a Technical, Engineering, Construction, or Renewable Energy setting.
The Role
1. Manage the end-to-end procurement of Solar PV components, including panels, inverters, mounting systems, cabling, batteries, and balance-of-system equipment.
2. Use ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS to manage purchase orders, approvals, inventory levels, and supplier data efficiently.
