Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk
City Centre Office | 3 Days/Week | £30,500 (FTE), £18,300 (Pro Rata)
We’re seeking a meticulous and reliable Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team in a Belfast City Centre technologypany. This part-time opportunity is ideal for someone with solid accounts payable experience who values flexibility and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process supplier invoices and match to purchase orders and delivery notes
2. Code and input invoices accurately into the accounting system
3. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
4. Prepare supplier payments (BACS, CHAPS) in line with schedules
5. Handle supplier queries professionally and promptly
6. Maintain accurate records of invoices and payments
7. Assist with month-end and year-end accruals and reporting
8. Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties
What You’ll Bring:
9. Proven experience in purchase ledger/accounts payable
10. Strong numerical and data entry skills
11. Solid understanding of invoice processing and reconciliation
12. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software ( Sage)
13. Excellentmunication and time management skills
