Job Description Certification and Conformance Regulatory Affairs Associate (m/f/x)
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Certification and Conformance Regulatory Affairs Associate for the 3M Personal Safety Division (PSD), you will collaborate with innovative and diverse teams worldwide, leveraging your curiosity and expertise.
Your Responsibilities Identify regulatory product certification requirements for PPE portfolios and supported geographies.
Prepare and submit regulatory documentation for product certifications and maintain records in division and corporate systems.
Coordinate with test labs, notified bodies, and agencies to submit products for certification, expedite registration, and arrange audits to ensure product conformance.
Review packaging, markings, and product information for compliance with European standards and regulations.
Collaborate with business leaders, engineers, quality, manufacturing, and other teams for new product introductions and changes to ensure regulatory compliance.
Conduct regulatory assessments during product commercialization.
Engage with authorities, notified bodies, and agencies for post-market activities or issues.
Perform routine regulatory tasks for new and existing products.
Stay updated on changes in standards and regulations/directives.
Qualifications Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience in regulatory roles.
Experience in Certification and Conformance/Regulatory roles or PPE-related experience.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred qualifications:
Ability to work independently and in diverse teams.
High integrity, motivation, and flexibility.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail.
Experience in multinational environments.
Knowledge of PPE standards and regulations.
Proactive, with a sense of urgency.
Skills: interpersonal effectiveness, communication, organization, prioritization, project management.
Job Details Location: Preferably in Bracknell; also consider candidates near Skelmersdale or Aycliffe.
Travel: Up to 5% domestically and internationally.
Work pattern: Hybrid, 3 days in-office per week.
