Fabric Technician FM Service Provider Commercial Campus London up to £35,000 per annum
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Fabric Technician to be based in a prestigious CommercialCampus based in London. This Campus has amazing facilitiessuch as - on-site restaurantsfor when you are hungry, great cafes to grab a hot drink and much more. They have bike racks on-site for when you want to cycle into work, and parking as well. The site is a short walk from Warrenstreet underground station and Euston station.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Building Maintenance.
Package:
Up to £35,000
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Key duties & responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of building fabric across the campus.
Undertake general repairs such as carpentry, basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, painting, and minor decorating works.
Inspect and maintain doors, windows, locks, floors, ceilings, and fixtures to ensure buildings remain safe, secure, and presentable.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and fault reports, prioritising works to minimise disruption to the approipate person.
Support compliance with health and safety regulations, including safe systems of work and risk assessments.
Liaise with facilities teams, contractors, and campus staff to coordinate repairs and improvement works.
Carry out routine inspections and identify potential issues before they develop into major faults.
Maintain accurate records of work completed using maintenance management systems.
Requirements:
Education A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic Mathematics skills.
Formal fabric Training.
Formal Building Maintenance training.
Formal health and safety training.
Experience (Essential) Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities
Character Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.
To have a calm manner and able to work under pressure. Able to make sound decisions when needed.
A team player, able to work with the team and clients representatives at all levels.
Must be willing to provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns.
