Corporate M&A Solicitor | 4–8 PQE | London
A leading international law firm is looking to hire a Corporate M&A Solicitor (4–8 PQE) to join its highly regarded London team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, complex and often cross-border M&A transactions, advising a diverse client base that includes multinational corporates, private equity sponsors and institutional investors.
The Role
You will work across the full lifecycle of high-value transactions, including:
* Advising on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including share and asset purchases, joint ventures, mergers, strategic alliances and public-to-private transactions
* Managing deals from strategic planning and deal origination through to due diligence, structuring, negotiation, documentation and completion, as well as post-deal integration or carve-outs
* Supporting complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions where regulatory, tax, employment, pensions, IP and ESG considerations play a key role
* Working across sectors including Technology, Infrastructure & Energy, TMT, Consumer, Industrials and Financial Services
The Team
You will join a globally integrated corporate practice known for delivering sophisticated advice on high-value transactions, often in the hundreds of millions or billions. The team regularly collaborates across jurisdictions to support clients operating in multiple markets, offering seamless cross-border execution.
Lawyers in the team also advise on:
* Value creation and risk mitigation strategies, including earn-outs, management incentive arrangements, minority protections and governance considerations
* Private equity transactions, including sponsor protections and exit mechanics
* Distressed and special situations M&A, requiring creative structuring in complex market environments
The practice works closely with specialists across finance, regulatory/antitrust, governance and restructuring, providing clients with fully integrated transactional support.
