Your role
You'll be responsible for installing, servicing, and diagnosing customer equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard. You'll work closely with our engineering and service teams while building positive relationships with our customers.
This role involves working both independently and as part of a team, with training and support provided as you grow in the role.
Responsibilities
* Installing, servicing, and repairing air compressors, pipework, and related equipment
* Following manufacturer guidelines, drawings, and technical specifications
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs using appropriate tools and technical knowledge
* Communicating clearly with customers about work carried out, issues identified, and recommendations
* Demonstrating equipment operation where required
* Working closely with the Field Service Supervisor, Service Administrator, and Lead Engineer to coordinate jobs and resolve technical issues
* Keeping accurate service records and identifying parts required for repairs
* Feeding back customer insights and suggestions to help improve our products and services
* Keeping up to date with technical bulletins and engineering updates

* Experience in a service engineering or technical environment
* A relevant technical qualification or practical experience in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
* Ability to organise your workload and manage your time effectively
* A positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude
* Full UK driving licence
* Basic computer skills (e.g. MS Office, Excel)
* Commercial awareness and confidence discussing technical matters
