Health and Safety Manager – 6-12 Month FTC – Glasgow
£55,000 + Excellent Benefits
Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a well-known Health and Safety media organisation to bring on a new Health & Safety Manager. The role is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract with potential for extension.
Responsibilities
* Implement Health and Safety policies and procedures ensuring compliance with legislation
* Review risk assessments and method statements and answer related queries
* Undertake audits and inspections of sites, identify improvement areas, report findings
* Manage the Health & Safety team, ensuring best practice across the function
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within media or events industry
* NEBOSH Diploma minimum (with relevant IOSH membership)
* Excellent communication skills, engaging a wide range of stakeholders in a corporate environment
* Experience managing a Health & Safety team
