Transport Admin Clerk - Nightshift Sunday to Thursday
We urgently require a transport admin clerk to work with our client based in Cambuslang, Glasgow.
Previous experience working in a transport office would be advantageous.
Immediate start available.
This role is all about administrative duties associated with the transport fleet at Cambuslang depot, accurately using their fleet management system for reconciliations, data entry, printing & filing from various monitoring systems, allocating drivers onto their microlise system, you will also be handing out paperwork, gloves, PPE to drivers & crews.
This is a general administrative role that involves following the processes already in place whilst handling all paperwork associated with their fleet.
The shift pattern will be Sunday to Thursday 2200pm until 0630am each night, however an expected level of flexibility may be required.
Pay Rate - £14.31 per hour
To apply you must have :-
- Experience in a fast paced admin role, preferably within a transport & logistics environment. - A high level of numeracy, with the ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly - Experience in working with an electronic POD and routing system (Microlise etc) - Ability to liaise directly with delivery crews - Ability to work on own initiative - Experienced and proficient in Microsoft Excel - Good written and verbal communication skills - Good attention to detail with the ability to spot potential problems
