Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cred Supervisor individual to join our team at HMP Albany, a Category B adult male prison. Join a team that is more than just a group of colleagues – we work Monday to Friday as a supportive and driven family, working together to create a safe and nurturing environment. HMP Albany runs like a self‑contained city; it takes hundreds of people to keep it functioning, and as the Maintenance Team we are committed and driving the smooth and safe operation. As a Cred Supervisor you will work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues from plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, cleaning, and administration.
As a CRED Supervisor you will offer mentorship to others, working collaboratively with them to achieve objectives and overcome challenges. You will be a guardian who advocates for fair treatment and opportunity for all, utilising your experience and calm nature to build, advocate for and implement projects where prison rehabilitation is supported by the chance to undertake maintenance works within the prison estate.
If you can work alongside, encourage and empower specially chosen prisoners to make a physical difference to their environments, we encourage you to apply for this compelling opportunity and join us in our mission to promote rehabilitation and positive change.
