The closing date is 18 January 2026

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Urology Directorate as a Band 8a Advanced Clinical Urology & Endo-Urology (Stone Service) Practitioner. You'll split your time between delivering advanced practice with the Urology on‑call team across the hospital site including the Emergency Department and leading our nurse‑led stone service in out‑patients.

You'll join a well‑established, forward‑thinking team that drives, leads and showcases advanced autonomous nursing practice. In this highly specialised role, you'll be a visible clinical leader--championing change, quality improvement, and personalised care across our Urology pathways.

About the role

* On‑call Urology: Provide advanced clinical assessment and decision‑making for urology in‑patients and urgent presentations; support safe, timely interventions; collaborate closely with the multi‑disciplinary team, other specialities and the ED teams.

Facilitate the Stone MDT, run out‑patient stone clinics, oversee pathway coordination and safety‑netting, and ensure seamless care from diagnosis to definitive management.
* Advanced Practice (four pillars): Clinical practice, leadership/management, education, and research--contributing to governance, quality improvement, audit, and service development.
