Job title: Personal assistant (PA)
Reporting to: Samantha Wilson
Location: Morley, Leeds
Job purpose:
* To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable/assist the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer: 46 year old woman living alone with a chronic pain condition, anxiety and depression.
Main duties:
* Attend medical appointments
* Personal care, including support with bathing, showering, shaving, teeth cleaning, dressing, administering medication, eating
* Domestic duties including support with grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, changing linen, laundry
Type of person they are looking for:
* Honest, patient, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable
* Easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel
* Female applicants only due to person care requirements
Hours of Work: 2 hours daily in the afternoons Monday to Friday, 1.5 hours Saturday and Sunday. Flexible to change if required
Rate of pay: Mon-Fri £12.60 & Sat-Sun £15.69.
Skills: Driving Licence, car preferable not essential, nursing qualification preferable not essential, good listener, patient and calm
