Digital Paid Media Specialist

We are recruiting a Digital Paid Media Specialist to work within our growing E‑Commerce team. This role offers the opportunity to manage high‑value campaigns and contribute to ambitious growth plans across the UK and Europe.

The Role
As Digital Paid Media Specialist, you will play a key role in the execution and optimisation of paid search and shopping campaigns across the UK and Europe. This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role that reports to the Director of Paid Media, with an opportunity to contribute to strategy and scale campaigns at pace.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, manage, and optimise paid media campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (Search, Shopping, Display, Performance Max)
* Support large‑scale product advertising across a catalogue of millions of SKUs
* Monitor performance against key metrics such as revenue, ROAS, acquisition, and engagement
* Analyse complex performance data to identify optimisation opportunities and provide actionable insights
* Collaborate with internal teams (Analytics, Product, Creative, and Sales) to align campaigns with inventory, pricing, and demand
* Maintain and optimise product feeds in line with Google Merchant Center best practices
* Support agency and vendor relationships through data insights and performance reporting
* Implement new tools, automation, and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability
* Ensure compliance with GDPR and regional data privacy requirements
* Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and new paid media opportunities
About You
* Proven experience in digital marketing with hands‑on expertise in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
* Proven experience managing e‑commerce and Google Shopping campaigns
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and prioritise opportunities
* Experience working with large budgets and complex campaign structures
* Proficiency with Google Analytics and advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel, pivot tables)
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
Desirable
* Experience within electrical, automation, MRO, or parts‑based industries
* Experience using tools such as Google Merchant Center, SQL, or WhatConverts
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field
