A well-established secondary school in Telford is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Mathematics Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025. The school is looking for a passionate educator who can contribute to the academic excellence of the department and inspire students to develop a strong understanding of mathematics.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. This role will involve delivering well-structured, engaging lessons and supporting students to achieve their full potential in the subject, particularly in preparation for GCSE exams.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and challenging mathematics lessons that inspire students and promote deep learning
Ensure all students are well-prepared for their GCSE exams through effective planning, teaching, and assessment
Contribute to the development and improvement of the Mathematics curriculum
Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
Maintain high standards of behaviour and foster a positive learning environment
Participate in extracurricular activities, including maths clubs or enrichment programmes, as appropriate
Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
Proven ability to deliver high-quality mathematics lessons
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
A commitment to the personal and academic development of students
A passion for teaching and the ability to engage students of all abilities
Willingness to contribute to the wider school community and professional development
