A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially aware Manager to join a well established trade merchant business in Ayrshire.
We're seeking a candidate who is experienced in a merchant environment, self-motivated, a commercially aware people manager with excellent attention to detail.
Product knowledge from a timber or builders merchant is a distinct advantage as well as roofing, tools, fixtures and fittings or similar

Responsibilities:
• Being responsible for the profit of the Branch, monitoring budgets
• Building structure, systems and procedures to drive efficiency across branches
• Working with and motivating the internal teams to ensure best results
• Developing new and existing business in the area, driving growth
Skills/Experience:
• Extensive Trade Merchant experience with experience at branch management level
• Driving Licence.
• The ability to work effectively within in a fast-paced, busy branch.
• Strong sales background, confident working in a sales-focused environment and able to build lasting relationships with customers.
