Alloga UK is seeking a dedicated and professional Class 1 Driver/Shunter to join our team. This is your chance to play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and driving competency.Location: AP8 site, Derby, DE21 7HWSalary & Shifts: £16.25 p/h, 48 hours per week Monday to Friday, Start Time 1200-1400Key Responsibilities:· Deliver goods promptly and safely, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.· Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding any delays or issues.· Complete documentation accurately, including proof of deliveries and returns.· Maintain a high level of vehicle cleanliness and road safety, adhering to speed limits and traffic regulations.· Conduct daily vehicle walkaround checks and manage secure loading practices.· Report any risks, incidents, or temperature excursions as they arise..What We’re Looking For:· Experience: Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience.· Skills: Excellent customer care and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.· Attributes: Smart appearance, strong interpersonal skills, and a flexible approach to work.· Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 and a sound knowledge of Good Distribution Practice.Why Alloga:Join a team that values safety, professionalism, and customer care.
