1 : 1 SEN Tutor – Matlock (DE4)
We are currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic SEN Tutor to support students in the Matlock (DE4) area. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact by delivering personalised learning experiences and helping young people with additional needs thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging one-to-one or small group tuition tailored to each learner’s needs
* Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting approaches to maximise progress
* Plan, prepare, and modify lessons to suit a range of learning styles and abilities
* Build strong, positive relationships that promote confidence, independence, and engagement
* Track, monitor, and report on student progress and development
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN
* Previous tutoring or teaching experience is desirable
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
Working Hours:
* Part-time / flexible to suit your availability
* Typically weekdays (Monday to Friday)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
