What will you be doing?
This manager-level role requires an innovative professional experienced in planning, scheduling, and project controls within construction. You will work closely with our team to apply your expertise to solve complex problems, develop tailored client solutions, and manage key relationships.
As a senior consultant, you will be client-facing, directly involved in project delivery, with experience from infrastructure projects or related fields preferred.
What will you need to do it?
We seek candidates with strong post-qualification experience in planning and project controls, ideally from major infrastructure projects. Your experience should include:
* Leading and managing tasks like monitoring, reporting, scheduling, cost control, risk management, change control, and project controls best practices
* Experience in consulting or advising clients within industry or government
* Involvement in major projects, especially in infrastructure sectors like transport, defense, power, utilities, or nuclear
* Understanding of UK public sector project delivery
* Proven team management and project controls application skills
* Experience with earned value management standards
* Developing project controls tools and reports
* Risk identification and analysis
* Monitoring project performance and assurance
* Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Proficiency in Excel, MS Project, and Oracle P6
