About the Role:
As a Food Technician, you'll play an essential role in supporting our Food Technology department, helping students develop valuable practical skills in a safe and engaging environment. You'll assist teachers in preparing for lessons, maintaining equipment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the food technology classrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients, equipment, and materials for practical food lessons
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards in food rooms
Support teachers and students during practical sessions
Order, check, and manage stock of ingredients and equipment
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Works well under pressure and as part of a team
Is confident with food preparation and hygiene practices
Has a proactive and supportive approach with students and staff
(Experience in a school or catering environment is desirable, but not essential)
