Science Technician
BET Grade 3A-E £25,186-£25,432 FTE (Actual salary £8,875 – £9,248) based on 15 hours a week (term time only, including inset days). Days need to be Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays and will be discussed at the interview. Hours will be 8.30am - 4.30pm.

We are looking to appoint a part-time Curriculum Technician, to join our cheerful and enthusiastic existing technician team. You will be assisting the Head of Faculty and the Senior Curriculum Technician in the coordination and the use of practical resources, providing assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the department. This role will be across all 3 sites.
Key tasks are:
● Organising and storing resources
● Cleaning of laboratory and fixed equipment
● Ensure that stock levels are maintained and future requirements are identified
● Ensure the availability of suitable resources
● Delivery of equipment, materials and organisms to rooms
● Collection of, checking and returning resources to stores
Do you have?
● A flexible attitude to react to different situations throughout the school day and the ability
to use your own initiative within the learning environment
● Experience of working calmly under pressure
● The ability to communicate effectively with other team members, and work effectively both on your own and within a team
