With a strong presence across sectors including nuclear, defence, and aerospace, they are continuing to grow and invest in their machining capability. As a result, we are now looking to recruit a skilled CNC Miller & Turner to join their experienced shop floor team. Roles & Responsibilities This is a dual-skilled position where you will be responsible for both CNC milling and turning operations, working on high-spec, low-volume components to tight tolerances. Setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines Editing programmes at the machine (online programming) Producing precision components from engineering drawings Working with a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminium, and specialist alloys Carrying out in-process inspection using micrometers, verniers, and gauges Ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining a clean, organised workspace The Ideal Candidate Have proven experience as a CNC Miller & Turner in a precision engineering environment Be confident setting and operating both milling and turning machines independently Have experience with controls such as Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Siemens (advantageous) Be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ideally h...
