An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and ambitious NQ Family Solicitor to join a well-established and supportive legal practice at their head office in Liverpool. This role offers the chance to work within a highly professional and motivated Family team, handling a varied caseload of both private and public family law matters.
You'll report directly to the Head of Department and play an integral part in the growth and success of the team, with a clear pathway for development and progression.
The Role:
You'll be responsible for managing your own caseload of Family and Children Law matters, including:
1. Public and private family law
2. Domestic abuse and non-molestation cases
3. CCMS applications and Legal Aid matter
4. Drafting legal documentation and court applications
5. Advocacy (desirable, not essential)
6. Attending court hearings and client meetings
7. Supporting junior team members and assisting in business development
What We're Looking For:
8. Previous experience in Family Law (ideally both public and private)
9. Knowledge of Legal Aid processes
10. A genuine passion for family law and client care
11. Confident, personable communicator
12. Strong time management and ability to work autonomously
13. Panel membership or working towards would be a distinct advantage
14. A referral network would be a bonus
15. Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
